Francesco Marsella, a representative of Zenit’s midfielder Axel Witsel spoke out about the latest news related to the possible transfer of Axel to AC Milan.
“We can confirm that we have lately had contacts with AC Milan representatives and now all depends from Milan. Witsel talked with the President of Zenit, and he gave the nod to his departure from the Club. Axel wants to move to Milan and is ready even tomorrow to wear the t-shirt of the Club, if the Rossoneri decide so.
Terms of the deal? It can be the rent of the player for € 3 million, with a commitment to repurchase him by € 22 -23 million if the player will hold at least 20 matches with AC Milan. I hope that there will be a deal before the closure of the transfer window,” – said Marsella.
